Meet the Founder – Andre Roberts
At LJA Consulting, we believe that every great business starts with a vision. I’m Andre Roberts, the founder of LJA Consulting, and I’ve spent over a decade turning ideas into successful enterprises across global markets. With hands-on experience in business development, retail management, and corporate training, I’ve helped businesses achieve sustainable growth and navigate the challenges of international expansion.
My Story
My career began in the fast-paced world of retail and sales management, where I quickly rose to leadership positions. As an Area Manager for RUMobile/Cellairis Accessories, I managed multiple high-performing branches across the UK and Ireland, overseeing operations in major hubs like Westfield London and Brent Cross Shopping Centre. Under my leadership, the company achieved a remarkable £2.5 million turnover, proving my ability to drive results at scale.

​Living and working in China for the past several years has given me unique insights into the Chinese market and its opportunities. As a Corporate Business English Instructor, I’ve worked with leading companies like Weiguo Manufacturing and Zhongshan Industrial Lighting, helping them bridge the gap between local operations and global communication.

After this success, I transitioned into business development with TIBHAR/MAXWILL Sports, where I led initiatives to identify new market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and increase revenue streams. My role required adaptability, foresight, and the ability to work across industries—skills that now form the foundation of LJA Consulting.

This experience has deepened my understanding of the challenges businesses face when entering new markets—and how to overcome them.
Why I Started LJA Consulting
Having seen firsthand the struggles and successes of businesses expanding into China and venturing outside of China, I recognized the need for a consultancy that combines global expertise with a practical, results-driven approach. I founded LJA Consulting to help startups and growing companies:
